For hundreds of years the Hedrec Sysstem was controlled by the two great clans - Vaylon from Bricera and Khisar from Torlax. And as long these families had been ruling, as long had the war been lasting between them. An ongoing struggle for power and controll of the system. Every now and then one family managed to gain and advantage over the other, but all in all a certain balance was kept, until the Khisar clan went a step too far.
Returning from a business journey the Briceran Overlord Sorrin Vaylon and his wive Elara and his son Jarris were ambushed by Khisar's raiders. Being forced to watch his parents die, Jarris swore revenge. Fueled by his rage he managed to escape and return to Bricera. Ten days later he got his revenge. Taking over his father's place as leader of the clan he gathered the Briceran forces and moved into open war against Torlax. After a few days of open space battles the Briceran forces broke through the defenses and arrived at Torlax. And with the dying gasp of Overlord Dalor Khisar, the Khisar clan broke apart.
Torlax, and all other planets that belonged to the purged clan, went over to Briceran posession.
